How are poverty and education linked?

Poverty and education are linked. Education in most countries is free but only until high school. To have a decent job you have to have to g to collage and this is not posible for free. Normally good collages are quite expensive. If you suffer poverty it is very hard to have a good education.

1) Why did the Government soldiers wanted to use children as soliders?

I think that soliders wanted to use children because they are easier to dominate. Government soldiers would drug them, abuse of them and they would not be able to do anything about it. For them it would be an easy pray to dominate.

2) Why do you think that many of the children said that they have "not future"?

I think that children say that they have no future because there childhood has been taken away and converted into a trauma. These children probably won't be able to go to school anymore and it will be very hard for them to continue there life like nothing happened, after everything that they have gone through.

Sudan

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, those of a particular group or nation. A civil war is a war

between the same country. Sudan's civil war has lasted for over two decades. This civil war started because of

different tribes disagreeing mainly with religious differences that led to fighting with each other. Some of the atrocities that were committed in Sudan during the civil war were; Harassment of internally displaced persons, bombing of hospitals, clinics, schools and other civilian sites, impeding and failing to fully implement peace agreements, destroying indigenous cultures. People in Sudan are right now voting to split the country in half in the north and the south and end with most of the war and violence. The lost boys of Sudan were a group of boys that had to leave there village when they were being attacked. They had to leave there home for there life. They had to survive so they started walking away form Sudan. Some of them died because of dehydration or because they starved to death. Some of these boys weren't even eight years old. They had nothing but their life and they had nowhere safe to go.

What I Care About

As a twelve year old, what I mostly care about is my family. This is because as my quote says you start and end with a family. I think that family is something that will always be there for you. Family is not like an iPod ,if it breaks you can't get a new one form the store. And I am completely sure that without a family I would actually die of boardom. I love my family for making me be who I am today and who I will be tomorrow.
